In this post, I want to have a closer look at the highly popular La Nuit de L'Homme, and requite my opinion equally to whether or not it is worth a endeavour.Other YSL Reviews: L'Homme Libre, Trunk Kouros, L'Homme

Full Wear Review

The showtime impressions that I get together from La Nuit is how utterly perfect it seems for nighttime wear. I mean, in that location are enough of neat smelling colognes, but this is just built for a nighttime on the town and for getting close to the ladies.

Information technology'south a sugariness scent that doesn't venture off into the super candy-similar olfactory property, rather, it remains steadfast in its masculinity. Sweet, but the opening is a spicy freshness, with dry and woody undertones. That will shift, as we motility forth, just the opening brings it.

At the top,  you are definitely getting hit with the cardamom right away. This annotation volition often be a supporting player, but in La Nuit de 50'Homme, it is the main attraction.

At first, it is paired with a very low-cal citrus note of bergamot, which gives the composition a chip of effulgence. However, the overall impression is one of warmth, and super freshness.

After the outset few minutes, the lavender steps upwards big time, along with the cedar. And then, y'all become a mix of cardamom and lavander (cardamom nevertheless the strongest), with fresh woody aromas emanating from the base of operations.

It pretty much stays like this for the duration of the rest of the clothing, but a nice vetiver does begin to height through to about the same level every bit the cedar. La Nuit is a warm slightly sugariness and slightly spicy fragrance, that has a fresh cleanliness, and a dark grapheme.

For a time, La Nuit is quite powdery and has a really attractive aroma, as information technology dries downwardly. I like the opening of this odour, only the dry down is fantastic.

Sillage, Longevity, and Versatility

Projection wise, it's not a fill the room scent. Information technology is subtle, but still noticeable, to those in your immediate presence. The sillage starts off moderate, simply goes light subsequently about an hour or two. Don't wait a powerhouse from this or the other scents in the Fifty'Homme lineup of colognes.

That initial punch is nonetheless pretty solid, though. Just nowadays, it doesn't go along to that same level for all that long.

I don't find its longevity to be annihilation spectacular either, information technology volition normally final for what you need it to do (vi hours of solid performance and so peradventure two more that it has faded a bit). For me, it has been a consistent half-dozen-8 60 minutes olfactory property over the years, including the terminal time I recently tried it.

I know, at that place have been reformulations, and some think it is now weaker. I'one thousand not sure, simply again, never been a beast for me.

Update: I recently tried a newer batch of this and it was effectually 5 hours of clothing. That's pretty bad for a designer fragrance. The scent is absolutely nevertheless not bad, but I've really got to spray the heck out of my bottle whenever I clothing information technology. Non too big of a bargain, but La Nuit has taken a step back over the years.

It is such a balanced offering and I recollect that is office of the reason that it is so good. It smooth, not overpowering, and it has an alluring mystery behind it. I would say that this is a date night type of cologne and not a bold nightclub standout such equally one Million.

Also, where 1 Meg is more energetic and youthful, La Nuit De L'Homme is classy and refined. Though, it is quite versatile beyond that application.

You tin vesture it casually or to work every bit well. Information technology'll fit in just fine. Seasonally, best in colder to temperate weather, non a summertime odor.

It is among the sexiest men'southward fragrances out there, because information technology always seems to depict compliments. Information technology's just been consistent for me over the years, with how information technology draws attention, even in its lighter land.

La Nuit de 50'Homme is ane that has been the signature smell for many guys, since its release. It can however play that role, just not to the same degree now, with the performance bug.

Overall Impressions of La Nuit

Overall, though, I have to recommend this odor. It is sexy and pleasing and mostly very well-liked by women. I really like the opening burst, with the bergamot. Plus, the dry downwards when the vetiver arrives is not bad.

That opening act with the bergamot and cardamom is nice. But, coming back to this ane with my newer canteen, I take been remembering how much I enjoy the mid and latter stages of La Nuit de L'homme.

The lavander, vetiver, and cedar…along with the remaining merely toned down cardamom is notwithstanding awesome and a pleasance to wear.

Smell wise, this is a definite buy. Performance wise, it's but okay. This has been a very popular scent for long time now, so, information technology has proven itself among the masses and gotten very positive feedback. Give it a try for yourself.
